In The Community

CommunityAt J&J Mechanical, we believe that, to be a successful business, you need to be involved with your community as well as your customers.

We help improve the communities we serve throughout Southern New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania by proudly sponsoring a number of charities and community organizations, including:

  • Wounded Warrior Project - Wounded Warrior Project is a veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following the events of September 11, 2001.
  • Queens of Swedes - Paddling and providing for our community. Founded in 2011 and competing in the Philadelphia Dragon Boat Races in October.
  • Kingsway Dragons Football - The Kingsway Youth Football Association is the premiere youth football organization in South Jersey.  As part of the Tri-County Midget Football League, we consistently field championship winning teams in 4 different divisions. Freshmen (6-7 year olds), Sophomore (8-9 year olds), Junior (10-11 year olds), and Senior (12-13 year olds).  We also have a Pee Wee instructional team for kids 4 to 5 years of age.
  • Peachwood Pirates Swim Team - The Peachwood Pirates Swim Team is a summer recreational swim team affiliated with the Peachwood Recreation Club in Logan Township, NJ.
  • Logan Lions Cheerleaders - The mission of the Logan Lions organization is to instil the values of fair play, sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty and trust from our coaches and board.
  • Logan Twp Soccer League - A non-profit soccer club dedicated to the children of Logan Township as well as the surrounding areas of New Jersey.
  • Dave Magrogan Group Charity Events - Ranging from local to national charities, each concept has exceeded expectations set by fundraising hosts in order to raise the most possible with each event.
  • SJ Robotics - For many students in the tri-county area, low income is a barrier – they cannot afford to attend college and get a good-paying job. South Jersey Robotics sponsors robotics teams in the region in an effort to help change that by giving them a fun way to acquire STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills. The Robot Run fundraiser lowers the cost of joining our teams.
  • Habitat For Humanity - has been devoted to building "simple, decent, and affordable" housing and has addressed the issues of poverty housing all over the world.
  • Logan Township Police Department -  the department’s 19 sworn officers serve 6,177 residents and patrol the largest industrial park on the East Coast along with shopping areas and major roadways to include Interstate highways Rt. 295, Rt 130 and Rt. 322. Presently the Township is served from Police Headquarters located in the Bridgeport section.
  • East Greenwich Police Department - The men and women of the East Greenwich, NJ Police Department are honored to protect this great community and all others that call it home.
  • Woolwich Township Police Department - Serving the residents of Woolwich Township across 21 square miles of Gloucester County, New Jersey.
  • Kingsway Youth Cheerleading - A recreational cheerleading league founded on the idea of helping those in need.
  • Gloucester County Institute of Technology Drama Department - The School of Performing Arts is comprised of two divisions, dance and drama. Providing students a wide array of academic options that include college preparatory, honors, and concurrent college/high school classes.
  • Greater Swedesboro Business Association - The Greater Swedesboro Business Association (GSBA) meets monthly to discuss ongoing business in the local community including Logan, Beckett and Swedesboro.
